About
James has most recently joined Identity School of Acting as one of their tutor/directors at their new Manchester school.

Having been chosen as one of the directors for the Off Cut Festival in Manchester, the excerpt he directed was selected as the winning entry and James will now direct the completed play, Some Masterchef Shit, written by Liam High.
​
James is currently an associate producer on Chimera, a new film project in development from writer David Lemon, director Neil Mcenery-West and Oscar winning producer Julie Foy.

James continues to be a valued member of the freelance directing team at Rose Bruford North having previously worked with the Acting students on a number of projects throughout their training.
Projects
Singing for Lung Health
James was accepted to train with The Musical Breath exploring vocal anatomy and lung function included as modules of their Singing for Lung Health course. Following on from this James facilitates Singing for Lung Health workshops in the North West, running sessions to help improve the lung function of people living with chronic lung disease.
Bolton's Pulmonary Fibrosis Support group is a leading campaigning organisation and support group for people affected by pulmonary fibrosis.
Concert for Christie
In 2023 James directed Concert for Christie for the Christie Musical Theatre Company who's aim is to raise money for The Christie Hospital in Manchester through musical productions.
